The Companies use advanced technologies for product creation, testing and simulations in their Research and Development Center. Recognized as the largest and most modern in Latin America, the Center integrates three laboratories: the chemical, the physical and the pilot (prototypes) labs. In addition, the Companies use the Randon Technology Center (CTR) for field testing.

El mecanizado es un paso importante en el proceso de fabricación de cilindros, ya que el acabado perfecto conduce a un excelente rendimiento y alta durabilidad. Controil invierte en nuevas tecnologías, actualmente contamos con puestos de mecanizado totalmente automatizados, donde todo el movimiento es llevado a cabo por robots, asegurando una mayor precisión a lo largo del proceso. Esta evolución tecnológica se traduce en productos de alta calidad, mayor rendimiento y durabilidad.

Located in the city of Farroupilha in Rio Grande do Sul, the CTR has 20 different tracks, totaling 15 kilometers, where the most different types of pavements with specific irregularities are reproduced to perform tests of automotive components in the most varied conditions. It also has a building of 2,200 m², which houses an atelier for vehicle preparation and a structural laboratory, equipped with a seismic base of 94 m², servo-hydraulic actuators and benches for high performance vibrational tests. The technology complex has a qualified engineering team, drivers and testing technicians. Ensuring safety, quality, competitiveness and reliability to developed products.

This is the concept of CTR Innovation Lab. The 300 m² space consists of areas for co-creation and functional rooms that welcome multidisciplinary innovation teams, with the purpose of potentiating the use of sustainable technologies in the group's products.
