Located in the city of São Leopoldo, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Founded in 1957, the company produces components for rn hydraulic brake systems, such as master cylinders, wheel and clutch cylinders, brake boosters and assorted repair kits. It has also specialized in producing rn polymer solutions for the automotive market, with emphasis on the line of air filter hoses and intake manifold sealing rings, items for which it is an rn original manufacturer for automakers. The product line also includes radiator fluids and brake fluids.rn
With a portfolio of more than 800 items, it serves domestic and international markets, exporting to countries in South and Central America, Europe and Asia. The company rn holds ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications and has modern machinery and qualified engineering, which allows it to deliver the best technology while ensuring rn product quality. It also uses the full structure of CTR (Randon Technology Center) to complement the final validation of its developments, rn in addition to its own testing laboratory.

In 1957, Metalúrgica Industrial Ltda was founded. It began producing automotive repair parts and rubber parts for brakes and industry in general.
1960 to 1969
In 1965, the company name was changed to Freios Controil Ltda.
1970 to 1979
In 1978, the company began producing rubber parts for cooling systems.
1980 to 1989
In 1989, production of wheel cylinders for trucks began, and the company moved to its current headquarters located in the Vicentina neighborhood in São Leopoldo.
1990 to 1999
From the 1990s onward, the company experienced exponential growth driven by several initiatives, such as: the start of production of automotive rubber parts; diaphragms; wheel cylinders for cars; and master cylinders for brakes.
2000 to 2009
In the 2000s, investments continued and production began for clutch cylinders, brake boosters and injection-molded hoses.
2010 to 2019
In 2010, the new shipping area was built and, in 2012, Freios Controil was acquired by Fras-le S.A., becoming part of Randoncorp.
